Part of our Prostalite overview. Last checked October 19, 2026.
How to take Prostalite is simple on paper: the vendor says one capsule a day with 6 to 8 oz of water. Each bottle holds 30 capsules, a 30-day supply[1].
What the vendor does not give is a time of day, a food rule or a dose for each ingredient. This page sticks to the printed directions and marks anything we infer.
How do you take Prostalite?
You take Prostalite by swallowing one capsule once a day with a glass of water, 6 to 8 oz, per the vendor's directions[1][2]. Each capsule holds the full 450 mg proprietary blend, so one capsule is the whole serving.
The vendor says the capsule "releases the ingredients quickly"[2]. That is a marketing line, not a tested property.
Here is what is printed and what is our inference:
- Printed: serving size 1 capsule, 30 servings per bottle[1].
- Vendor direction: 1 capsule a day with 6 to 8 oz of water.
- Our inference: taking it at the same time each day makes missed doses easier to spot. No source says timing changes the effect.
Swallow the capsule whole. The directions do not say it can be opened and mixed into food, so we would not do that.
What is the right dose and timing?
The right dose is the label dose: one capsule a day. There is no evidence that a higher dose helps, and taking more raises your intake of every hidden ingredient at once, including neem.
Timing. The vendor names no time of day. Morning or evening both fit the directions.
With or without food. The vendor does not say. One sourced point: NCI notes that lycopene is absorbed better with dietary fat[3], so a meal with some fat is a reasonable choice. If milk thistle upsets your stomach, as it can with bloating, nausea or gas[4], taking the capsule with food may sit easier. That second point is our inference.
Consistency. The vendor advises at least 3 months of use, but its refund window closes 60 days after delivery[5]. Decide before day 60 whether you want to keep going.
Missed dose. No instruction is given. Our inference: skip it and take the next one as usual rather than doubling up.
How long does one bottle last?
One bottle lasts 30 days at one capsule a day. The table shows each bundle in days, with vendor prices checked October 19, 2026[6].
| Package | Capsules | Days at 1 a day | Vendor price (US) | Per bottle |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 bottle | 30 | 30 | $69 | $69 |
| 3 bottles | 90 | 90 | $177 | $59 |
| 6 bottles | 180 | 180 | $294 | $49 |
Shipping is free in the US on every bundle, and the charge is one-time with no autoship, per the vendor FAQ. After checkout, upsells offer more bottles at $29 each; decline what you did not plan for. A 3-bottle pack runs 90 days, past the 60-day refund window. Full cost details are on our Prostalite price page.
What should you avoid while taking it?
Avoid stacking Prostalite with other products that repeat its ingredients, and avoid starting it alongside prescription medicines without a pharmacist's check. The label lists no stimulants, so caffeine is not a known overlap.
- Doubling ingredients. Other prostate or liver formulas often contain milk thistle, lycopene or pumpkin seed. With Prostalite's doses hidden, you cannot add up your total.
- Neem oil. Do not swallow neem oil; it is toxic by mouth[7].
- Diabetes medicines without a check. Milk thistle may lower blood sugar in type 2 diabetes[4].
- Medicines that worsen BPH. NIDDK lists cold medicines, tranquilizers, antidepressants and diuretics as possible symptom triggers[8].
- Stopping prescribed care. Keep taking any prostate medicine your doctor prescribed.
The full list is on our Prostalite side effects page.
How do you track whether it is doing anything?
Track the symptoms NIDDK lists for an enlarged prostate, once a week, starting a week before your first capsule[8]. A baseline is the only way to tell a change from a good week.
Keep a simple log with these columns:
- Date and whether you took the capsule
- Night-time trips to urinate
- Stream: weak, interrupted or normal
- Urgency or dribbling: yes or no
- Side effects: stomach upset, rash, anything new
- Any PSA result or doctor visit
Keep the log on paper or in your phone notes and bring it to your next appointment. Your doctor can set it next to a standard symptom score, and the dates show whether any change began before or after your first capsule.
Review the log at day 50, before the refund window closes. No ingredient lowered PSA in trials, so do not read a PSA change as a Prostalite effect[9]. The evidence is on does Prostalite work.
When should you stop and talk to a doctor?
Stop Prostalite and get help if you have a rash, swelling or trouble breathing after a dose. See a doctor right away, per NIDDK, if you[8]:
- cannot urinate at all
- have urgent, painful urination with fever and chills
- see blood in your urine
- have severe pain in your lower belly
Also book a visit if symptoms get worse over your log, or if they are new and have never been checked.

- Start a symptom log a week before day one.
- Review it by day 50, inside the 60-day refund window.

Frequently asked questions
How many Prostalite capsules should I take a day?
One. The vendor directs one capsule a day with 6 to 8 oz of water, and each capsule is a full 450 mg serving. There is no evidence that taking more helps, and extra capsules raise your intake of every hidden ingredient, including neem.
What time of day should I take Prostalite?
The vendor gives no time of day, so morning or evening both follow the directions. Taking it at the same time daily makes missed doses easier to spot. A meal with some fat may help lycopene absorption, according to NCI.
How long does a bottle of Prostalite last?
One bottle holds 30 capsules, so it lasts 30 days at one a day. A 3-bottle pack lasts 90 days and a 6-bottle pack about 180 days. Vendor prices checked October 19, 2026 were $69, $177 and $294 with free US shipping.
Can I take Prostalite with other prostate supplements?
It is better not to without advice. Other formulas often repeat milk thistle, lycopene or pumpkin seed, and Prostalite hides its doses, so you cannot add up your total intake. Show both labels to a pharmacist before combining them.
What if I miss a dose of Prostalite?
The vendor gives no instruction for missed doses. A cautious approach is to skip the missed capsule and take the next one at the usual time, rather than taking two at once. Note the missed day in your symptom log.
